Transforming Industries
with Optical Fiber Photonics Innovations

From ultra-fast lasers to rugged fiber-optic sensors, Lumoscribe®’s technology is built to perform, scale, and adapt—empowering your next big leap.

Who we are

Lumoscribe® is a deep-tech photonics company specializing in the development of advanced fiber-optic sensors, lasers, and integrated optical systems. Leveraging the unique properties of optical fibers, we engineer high-performance solutions for sensing, laser generation, and photonic signal processing across diverse sectors.

As an SME built entirely around advanced technology, Lumoscribe® defines itself as a deep-tech innovator—harnessing the ability to generate, control, and manipulate light to solve real-world challenges with scientific precision and engineering rigor.

Through our in-house Photonics Research Center (PRC), we not only drive our own product innovation but also empower other organizations to prototype and co-develop tailored photonic solutions—from proof-of-concept to application-ready systems.

What we do

At Lumoscribe®, our operations span three core domains:

1. Product Innovation
We develop and commercialize cutting-edge optical sensing and fiber laser systems for a wide range of industries—including manufacturing, fiber lasers, aerospace, and automations. Our solutions are trusted where precision, reliability, and performance are critical.

2. Collaborative R&D
We participate in national and international research projects, working alongside universities and research centers to turn novel photonics concepts into high-impact prototypes and products.

3. Photonics Consulting
We provide expert consulting to help organizations refine and commercialize their photonics-based ideas—guiding them from concept through technical validation and market alignment.

Our History

Lumoscribe® was founded in 2018 by Dr. Antreas Theodosiou, driven by his vision to establish a world-leading photonics innovation company. Recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists since 2019 by Stanford University (USA), Dr. Theodosiou identified a critical gap: the need to translate advanced photonics research into practical, real-world solutions.

Following its founding, Lumoscribe® secured its first research grant—marking the beginning of a focused but steady growth trajectory. By 2021, the company had successfully developed and launched its first proprietary tech products. A year later, Lumoscribe® transitioned into its dedicated R&D and manufacturing facility in Geroskipou, Pafos, establishing its operational base.

Today, Lumoscribe® stands not just as a business, but as a response to a deeper need: the transformation of knowledge into application—of photonics into real-world solutions that improve lives.
With a commitment to innovation that’s both scientific and human, we aim to collaborate with those who believe in impact over control, and progress over convention.

Founder’s Note

My company didn’t begin as a business. It began as a need.

A need to turn knowledge into application, research into real-world tools, and photonics into technologies that improve lives. I didn’t start Lumoscribe® simply to commercialize science—I started it to redefine how science becomes impact. This isn’t about entering a market. It’s about shaping a new way of thinking about innovation.

At Lumoscribe®, we don’t measure progress only in ROI, but in reach—in our ability to build something with scientific soul, commercial intelligence, and human purpose.

We’re not just selling products. We’re building the next step in photonic technology. And that, to me, is the most meaningful thing anyone can invest in.”
